Introducing Baby Harrison | Fresh 48 Newborn Session | Norfolk, Virginia

You may remember this beautiful couple from their stunning maternity session at Norfolk Botanical Garden in February.  We had a wonderful evening together, so I was thrilled when Cayte and D.J. chose to hire me for their Fresh 48 session when their sweet baby boy arrived!  As we discussed their session and worked out details, I realized that baby Harrison was due to arrive right before I left the area for 10 days.  I was so disappointed that I may not be here, but kept hoping he would arrive on or before his due date so I could be there.  I mentioned to Cayte that if she would still like to book me, I would arrange for a back up photographer to do the session just in case I wasn't around.  I am beyond happy that she agreed because the photos from the session are absolutely gorgeous.

When I found out there was a chance I wouldn't be here, there was only one person who came to mind as a back up for me...Michelle Lynn.  I've worked very hard to get my business where it is today and spent endless hours working on my craft.  Michelle is one of the few people I would trust with such an important session.  I KNEW, without a doubt, she would do an incredible job.  And she did not disappoint.

Handsome baby Harrison was so comfortable inside Mommy's belly that his due date came and went, and several days later still no baby!  With no promises that labor was on it's way, Cayte was finally induced at Bon Secours Depaul Hospital in Norfolk.  Michelle was able to capture priceless moments of Harrison, less than 1 day old, with his parents and grandparents.  When I sat down at my computer to edit the images, I had a huge smile on my face and tears in my eyes because you can just feel the love in these photos.  I love how Michelle's images and my editing style come together so beautifully.  And just look at how handsome and alert this brand new baby boy is!!  Cayte and D.J. - thank you so much for trusting us to capture and document these precious moments for your family.
